MEN’S BASKETBALL- Drmic and Marks named to All Mountain West 2nd team, Each was named honorable mention all-conference following their collegiate debuts in 2011-12.  Drmic led the Mountain West in scoring during conference games, averaging 18.8 points per game, his season scoring average of 17.2 ranked second in the league. Marks was the only player in the MW to rank in the top five in both scoring (fifth; 16.4) and assists (fourth; 3.93) during 2012-13.

No. 5 Boise State( 21-9)(9-7) will rematch against No. 4 San Diego State(21-9)(9-7) in the quarterfinals of the 2013 Reese’s Mountain West Men’s Basketball Championship, Wednesday. Tip is scheduled for Wednesday March 13th 10 p.m. MT at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL-  Brandi Henton and Lauren Lenhardt. Henton was named the MW Newcomer of the Year and honorable-mention all-conference, while Lenhardt earned her second-consecutive second-team All-MW honor. Henton averaged 10.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 26.2 minutes per game. She shot 33.4 percent from the floor, 24.7 percent from beyond the arc with 39 makes, and 62.5 percent from the free-throw line. Lauren averaged  15.8 points per game, in league games she also ranked fourth in scoring at 16.9 points per game. On the year, Lenhardt ranked fourth in the league for rebounding at 7.0 per game.

GYMNASTICS- The No. 23-ranked Boise State gymnastics team heads to its final regular season meet of 2013, traveling to Logan, Utah, to take on No. 55 Utah State, Friday, March 15. The Broncos (11-3, 3-2 WAC) will take on the Aggies (3-10, 0-6 WAC) at 7 p.m. MT at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on the campus of Utah State University.
FOOTBALL-  Boise State University announced today the addition of Troy (Ala.) University to its football schedules in 2017 and 2018.  Troy will visit Bronco Stadium on Sept. 2, 2017, with Boise State returning the game to Veterans Memorial Stadium in Troy, Alabama on Sept. 1, 2018.
Boise State recently started its 2013 spring drills and will play its annual Spring Game on April 13 (Saturday) at 5 p.m. in Bronco Stadium.
