MEN’S BASKETBALL- Drmic and Marks named to All Mountain West 2nd team, Each was named honorable mention all-conference following their collegiate debuts in 2011-12.  Drmic led the Mountain West in scoring during conference games, averaging 18.8 points per game, his season scoring average of 17.2 ranked second in the league. Marks was the only player in the MW to rank in the top five in both scoring (fifth; 16.4) and assists (fourth; 3.93) during 2012-13.

No. 5 Boise State( 21-9)(9-7) will rematch against No. 4 San Diego State(21-9)(9-7) in the quarterfinals of the 2013 Reese’s Mountain West Men’s Basketball Championship, Wednesday. Tip is scheduled for Wednesday March 13th 10 p.m. MT at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL-  Brandi Henton and Lauren Lenhardt. Henton was named the MW Newcomer of the Year and honorable-mention all-conference, while Lenhardt earned her second-consecutive second-team All-MW honor. Henton averaged 10.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 26.2 minutes per game. She shot 33.4 percent from the floor, 24.7 percent from beyond the arc with 39 makes, and 62.5 percent from the free-throw line. Lauren averaged  15.8 points per game, in league games she also ranked fourth in scoring at 16.9 points per game. On the year, Lenhardt ranked fourth in the league for rebounding at 7.0 per game.

GYMNASTICS- The No. 23-ranked Boise State gymnastics team heads to its final regular season meet of 2013, traveling to Logan, Utah, to take on No. 55 Utah State, Friday, March 15. The Broncos (11-3, 3-2 WAC) will take on the Aggies (3-10, 0-6 WAC) at 7 p.m. MT at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on the campus of Utah State University.
FOOTBALL-  Boise State University announced today the addition of Troy (Ala.) University to its football schedules in 2017 and 2018.  Troy will visit Bronco Stadium on Sept. 2, 2017, with Boise State returning the game to Veterans Memorial Stadium in Troy, Alabama on Sept. 1, 2018.
Boise State recently started its 2013 spring drills and will play its annual Spring Game on April 13 (Saturday) at 5 p.m. in Bronco Stadium.

MEN’S  BASKETBALL- The Boise State Broncos (20-8) (8-6 MW) play UNLV tonight (22-7) ( 9-5 MW) this is the last road game of the season for the men’s team, final score will be given and stats as soon as the game is over. Men’s senior night is Saturday afternoon at 1:30 vs San Diego state ( 20-8) ( 8-6 MW)

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL- It is senior night for the lady Broncos Lauren Lenhardt’s #44 last home game as a Bronco!!!!

Boise State ( 11-16) (4-10 MW) play UNLV (11-17) ( 7-7 MW) it is a “pack the house” night due to senior night. The lady Broncos finish the season on the road Saturday at San Diego state (22-5) (13-1 MW)

Gymnastics- Brittany Potvin-Green named WAC specialist of the week

Track and field- Emma Bates has earned a trip to the NCAA track and field championship, earning a spot in the 5000 meter event. Bates  runs on Friday March 8th and 6:55 pm. MST

Softball- at Arizona Friday march 8th 7 pm

 

Women’s basketball- (4-3) (1-1) at home/ The start of a 4 game home stand starts Friday for the lady Broncos: they will play Eastern Washington, Carroll College, Portland, and South Dakota.  Boise State women’s basketball along with the American Association of University Women will be celebrating 40 years of Title IX during the Eastern Washington game.

Men’s Basketball- BSU(6-1) men play Utah Utes (5-2) Wednesday night 6:30 in Utah, Friday December 16th BSU vs LSU Tigers at Taco bell Arena at 7 pm.
Tickets for Boise State’s men’s basketball game against Idaho Dec. 20, at Century Link Arena are currently on sale. The game between the Broncos and Vandals will tip at 7 p.m.

GYMNASTICS-Broncos Picked No. 15 in GymInfo Preseason Coaches’ Poll
Football- 13 Broncos make All-Mountain West Five Broncos were named All-MW First Team, including a league-high four defensive student-athletes: Mike Atkinson (DL), Demarcus Lawrence (DL), J.C. Percy (LB) and Jamar Taylor (DB). Matt Paradis (OL) was named first-team all-league on the offensive side for the Broncos. Matt Miller (WR), Charles Leno, Jr. (OL), Brenel Myers (OL) and Jerrell Gavins (DB) were named All-MW Second Team, while D.J. Harper (RB),Jeremy Ioane (DB), Tommy Smith (LB) and Ricky Tjong-A-Tjoe (DL) were named honorable mention. Boise State will play Washington in MAACO BOWL Las Vegas Dec. 22, at 1:30 p.m. (MT).

The Boise State men’s team has defeated Creighton 83-70 Derrick Marks with a career high 35 points!

The Boise State women’s basketball program has added a third prep standout to its recruiting class with head coach Gordy Presnell’s announcement that Kenna McDavis (Phoenix, Ariz.) has sign a National Letter of Intent. This brings the class to three as McDavis joins Brittney and Brooke Pahukoa who signed with the Broncos on Wednesday.

Women’s Basketball Falls 75-61 at San Francisco they now stands at ( 3-2) there next game is Friday vs San Diego at 7 pm. and Saturday vs UMKC at 2:00 pm

-Volleyball Liz Harden named to Volleyballs all Mountain West team, the first time in her career that she as received this honor, the lady Broncos  finish 5th in the Mountain west

Men’s basketball improves to 4-1 beating UCSB 72-56 the Broncos lost a close game to 15th ranked Michigan State by only 4 points, it was a great game overall and was a good test for this years team.

The Men’s team travels to Creighton to play tomorrow at 6 pm.
