Stone Sour released its 3rd album Audio Secrecy back in September. Frankly it took me longer to get into this album than their previous recordings. While the album as a whole isn’t as heavy as in the past, you can tell the band is moving a little further from the Slipknot sound. If you did know it already, Corey Taylor is also the frontman for Slipknot where he is also known as #8. James Root also pulls double-duty in Stone Sour, playing guitar for both bands.
