Become a producer

Want to be on the air? We are looking for students who want to show off their love of music while at the same time learn how to use audio editing software, master a sound board and just have fun. Click on the following link to apply to become a producer. PRODUCER APPLICATION

Be a DJ

The Pulse is the official DJ service for events in the Student Union Building. We also DJ select events off campus. If you have some DJ experience and would like to earn some money on the side, contact us using the form below. DJ events are sporadic and vary based on demand. Good news – we work around your class schedule!

Need a DJ?

Do you have a dance you need music for? Contact us! We have what you need. Fill out a Dj services go for $200.00 for four hour blocks. We look forward to working with you!
As a reminder, if you are planning an event which involves any amplified sound (music, microphones, etc.) on the Quad, you need to submit a request via e-mail to Stephanie Neighbors in the VPSA office. The potential disruption of classes is the primary reason for this procedure.

Please allow us at least 24-48 hours to get back with you if one of our DJs can serve your event. We request at least one weeks notice prior to the actual event.

Local Band?

At the Pulse, we are all about the local Boise music scene and believe in our local musicians. If you have a local band, contact us using the form below or send us a copy of your music (that’s able to be played on air).
